Easter HAF Camp 2025: A Week of Fun, Friendship, and Easter Magic!
This Easter, the Titans Community Foundation once again opened its doors to children across Rotherham for our much-anticipated Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Camp — and what a week it turned out to be!
Our camps are all about more than just keeping children active during the school holidays. They’re a space where young people can feel safe, get creative, stay active, make new friends, and enjoy nutritious meals. This Easter, we were proud to continue that tradition with a jam-packed week full of excitement, learning, and plenty of Easter cheer.
🍓 Healthy & Happy with Cookies Khaw
One of the standout highlights this year was the inclusion of Cookies Khaw, an interactive programme that encourages children to make healthy food choices. Our smoothie-making sessions were a massive hit! The children had so much fun choosing their ingredients, blending up their own creations, and learning about the health benefits of fruits and veggies. Watching the kids proudly show off their colourful, delicious smoothies was a joy for everyone involved — and it’s safe to say we’ve got a few budding chefs in the making!
Cookies Khaw didn’t just help us promote healthy eating; it created memorable moments that mixed fun with education, and that’s what our camps are all about.
🏃♀️ Games, Challenges & Laughter
Each day was carefully planned with a variety of physical activities and team games, designed to build confidence, encourage communication, and keep everyone active. From relay races and tag games to creative problem-solving challenges, every session was buzzing with energy and laughter.
It was inspiring to see the way the children supported one another through team tasks, worked together to solve problems, and celebrated each other’s wins. These kinds of moments are where growth happens — not just physically, but socially and emotionally too.
🐣 A Special Surprise from Asda
And of course, it wouldn’t be Easter without a few chocolatey treats! Thanks to the incredible generosity of Asda, each child was gifted an Easter egg to take home. The surprise brought huge smiles and excitement across the room. For many of our children, this small gesture made a big impact — adding an extra layer of joy and making them feel truly valued and appreciated.
We’re so grateful to Asda for supporting our work and helping us spread a little Easter magic.
💬 What the Week Meant
Throughout the week, we witnessed growth, joy, and pure fun. From the shy child who opened up and made new friends, to the energetic ones who found new ways to focus their energy in games and activities — every single camper brought something special to the experience.
At Titans Community Foundation, our mission is to support young people to lead healthy, active, and fulfilling lives, and the Easter HAF Camp was another proud step forward in that journey.
